Terms of Service

1. Placing an Order
1.1 Terms of Service
By placing an order on AmbrogioShoes.com or through any sales channel of AmbrogioShoes, you agree to unconditionally adhere to all company policies.

1.2 Special Requests
Special requests (e.g., gift wrapping, processing time) must be specified in order notes or communicated to customer support (see Section 9).

1.3 Processing Time
Orders typically process in 1-3 business days. Some items may take 3-10 business days.

1.4 Cancellations
Cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of order placement. Late cancellations subject a 15% processing fee.

1.5 Order Updates
We will notify you during processing if items require custom fulfillment (see Sections 5 & 6).

1.6 New Clients
New clients must complete a verification process via phone/email. Failure to comply may delay or cancel your order.

1.7 Sizing
Clients are responsible for selecting sizes. AmbrogioShoes is not liable for fit/style discrepancies.

1.8 USA Orders
Shipments are sent only to verified billing addresses. Contact your bank to add alternate shipping addresses.

1.9 Sales Tax
Sales tax applies to California shipments only. Excludes gift certificates.

1.10 Customer Responsibility
We are not liable for interest/fees on your payment method related to purchases, refunds, or returns.

1.11 Layaway

  • Non-refundable deposit: 10% or $100.00 (whichever is greater).

  • Eligibility: Items over $100.00 only.

  • Balance due: Within 30 days or items will be restocked.

  • Partial payments: Non-refundable; remaining balance may convert to store credit.

1.12 Coupons

  • One coupon per order. Max discount: 50% off.

  • Cannot stack with holiday/first-time discounts.

  • Third-party coupons are invalid.

  • Discounts may adjust upon returns.

1.13 Gift Certificates

  • Non-refundable. No expiration.

  • Returns for gift certificate purchases receive store credit.

1.14 Authenticity
All products are 100% authentic. Verify directly with manufacturers.

1.15 Payment
Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Bank Wire.

1.16 Chargebacks

  • Chargebacks result in permanent account suspension.

  • Fee: 50% deducted from refunds for resolved/pending chargebacks.

1.16.1 Pending Orders
Orders with open chargebacks will not ship until resolved.


2. Shipping
2.1 Shipping Costs
Includes shipping, handling, and insurance. Flat rate + per-item fee.

2.1.2 Shipping Methods

  • Standard (3-7 days): Free over 150;10 under $150.

  • Expedited (2-5 days): $20 (free for Gold/Silver members).

  • 2-Day Air: $50.

  • Next Day Air: $75.

2.1.3 Gold/Silver Members
Free expedited shipping. Cutoff: 2:00 PM PST.

2.2 Signature Required
Required upon request or at fulfillment discretion.

2.3 Delivery Guarantees
Expedited shipping dates guaranteed; refunds for delays via carrier resolution.

2.4 Personal Shipping Accounts
Provide UPS/FedEx/DHL account info in order notes for refunded shipping fees.

2.5 Other Methods
Contact us for custom shipping options (additional fees apply).

2.6 Shipment Insurance
All packages are insured. Report lost/damaged items immediately.

2.6.1 Lost Packages

  • UPS: 30-day investigation. Refund/store credit post-resolution.

  • USPS: 40-day investigation.

2.7 Unclaimed/Returned Packages

  • Fees: 20% restocking + shipping/customs costs.

  • Reshipment: New shipping fees are required.

2.8 International Orders

  • Customs/duties: Recipient’s responsibility.

  • Declaration: Not marked as a "gift."

2.10 Restricted Shipments
Python items to California are canceled/refunded.

2.11 Post-Shipment

  • No cancellations. Use the return process.

  • Tracking is provided via email.


3. Returns
3.1 Request Period

  • Defects: Notify within 2 days of delivery.

  • Other reasons: Notify within 14 days of delivery.

  • 10% restocking fee for certain brands (note in product description).

3.1.1 Exceptions
Contact us for delivery delays; extensions are granted case-by-case.

3.2 Used Items
No returns for worn/used items.

3.3 Return Window
Authorized returns must arrive within 30 days.

3.4 Inspection

  • Requirements: Unused, original packaging, all accessories.

  • Time: 7-14 business days.

  • Rejected returns: Discarded or returned at the client’s expense.

3.4.1 Missing Accessories
$25+ restocking fee or return at the client’s cost.

3.5 Packaging
Include RA#/receipt. Use sturdy boxes; avoid damaging the original packaging.

3.6 Rejected Returns
48-hour hold for client-provided return labels. Discarded after hold.

3.7 Domestic Returns (USA)

  • Refunds: The client covers return shipping.

  • Exchanges: One-time only; final sale.

  • Store Credit: Label provided in 1-3 business days.

  • Restocking fees: 10% on certain brand (note in product description) 

3.8 International Returns

  • No shipping refunds. Client covers return costs.

3.10 Natural Variations
Handmade items may have imperfections; not grounds for return.


4. Refunds & Credits
4.1 Refunds

  • Refunds are issued within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • Once processed, refund timing depends on your financial institution. We cannot expedite bank transactions.

4.2 Store Credit
Non-refundable; issued via email (no expiration).


5. Production Orders
5.1 Custom/Made-to-Order

  • Non-refundable. Confirm within 72 hours or auto-confirm.

  • Production times: Estimates only (e.g., 30-90 days). Delays possible.


6. Backorders
6.2 Cancellations
15% fee after confirmation.

6.5 Returns
Follow standard return policy.


7. Sales & Rewards
7.1 Price Adjustments
Credits are issued for price drops within 5 days of purchase.

7.4 Rewards

  • 4% back on purchases (50 points = $1).

  • Points are available 14 days post-delivery.
